Rent your snowshoes and cleats directly at The Tremblant Activity Centre, located at the bottom of the ski slopes. Our activity coordinators are on-site daily during operating hours to rent you the equipment.

While our destination is known for its vibrant ski resort, the vastness of nature is available to you, right at our door. We have over 1,500 square kilometers of National Park and a beautiful river valley bordered by a large public forest.

You can begin your snowshoe hike directly from the Tremblant resort or choose to explore other circuits in the Mont-Tremblant region. Here find all trail maps and tips >

Know Before you Reserve

Pick up: the day of rental or after 16h the night before.
Return: before 16h.

Access to trails is not included and varies from 9.25$ to 19$ per pers. depending on your choice of trail network.

Additional Information

Our base is at the Tremblant resort. We are situated less than a 2-hour drive from Montreal and Ottawa.
Duration: Pick up the day of rental or after 16h00 the night before. Return: before 17h00.
Poles and overboots are available as extras.
For guests who choose to reserve in advance (recommended), directions to meeting points will be provided in your reservation by email. Otherwise, directions will be handed to you when you reserve at The Activity Centre.
Prices do not include taxes or mandatory resort royalty of 3% and may be subject to change without notice.

I’ve done so many snowshoeing tours, and individual snowshoeing on my own and this was my greatest experience. Thanks to our guide, Alex! Alex is truly amazing, he took us us through the most fabulous path. shared a lot of history and culture, was super friendly, and very enthusiastic. Thank you very much Alex for the great day. Certainly recommend this activity, and if you have a choice, certainly go with Alex!

I appreciated Richard's dedication to make the wilderness tour interesting, diverting to the ice waterfall, and making a fire to toast marshmallows, but fundamentally it was really a bit lame. We didn't go far, we were never in the wilderness, and just walked a bit on snow shoes on well-trodden tracks. I had hoped we might journey into something a bit more remote, but it was nothing more than a Sunday stroll. Disappointing.

I appreciated Richard's dedication to make the wilderness tour interesting, diverting to the ice waterfall, and making a fire to toast marshmallows, but fundamentally it was really a bit lame. We didn't go far, we were never in the wilderness, and just walked a bit on snow shoes on well-trodden tracks. I had hoped we might journey into something a bit more remote, but it was nothing more than a Sunday stroll. Disappointing.

It was a wonderful experience with Mr. Richard who was an experience guide and me and my wife had a great time! Love the special treats with maple butter and starting a fire from dry woods!

Merci pour les commentaires. Oui ca cause un peu de confusion ici. Au pied des pentes il se trouve le centre Aventure(pour location de skis et planches), le Centre multi-service(billets de ski et lecons de ski et planche), et nous Le Centre d'Activités (tours et activités plein-air non-ski).

Yes, no panoramic vistas as we stay in the valley for this tour. Lots of woods, a creek and waterfall, probably some deer.

Richard was a great guide! We enjoyed our hike, which went off the trail and through the woods, and involved a little bit of scrambling. There wasn’t enough snow, so we wore crampons instead of snowshoes. Saw some wolf tracks but no wildlife, and a lovely waterfall at the end of the hike. The woman who sold us passes gave us all incorrect information. She said we could not take the gondola down with the uphill pass, and she said it would take 1.5 hour to get to the top. We wer on the mountain for more than four hours, and had to walk down on ski trails. It was very dangerous and scary. We are 63 and 65 and this was not our first expectation. Your lift sales should be much better informed.

When should I reserve?

Reservations can be made a few days in advance or even on the day of the activity.

How should we dress?

Consult our What to wear information page.

Where do we go on the trip?

Fireman Guided Tour: The guide takes you along an easy hiking trail, through the forest and along the ski hills with beautiful views of the resort. We leave right from The Activity Centre.

Snowshoe Rental at Tremblant: You leave right from The Activity Centre and the world is for you to explore! Our staff will give you the information you need to choose your trails. You will receive information about the different trails in the area upon pick-up.

Snowshoe Rental or Tour at Domaine Saint-Bernard: This winter snowshoe network includes about 22 km of marked trails. The trails vary from easy to moderate more challenging, winding through pine forest, meadows, lakes and along the Diable River. There are also 22km of cross-country ski trails. Cafe, shop, and bathrooms can be found in the main building.

If you can walk, you can snowshoe!
