Discover the forest trails of the Upper Laurentians on our 4h or 6h guided snowmobile tour.
Imagine leaving the trailhead behind and riding deeper into the Upper Laurentians, kilometre after kilometre of pine forest opening up in front of you. Our 4h and 6h guided snowmobile rides cover significantly more trail than our 2h departure, with hilly, forest terrain that gives you a genuine feel for what this region looks like in winter.
When you arrive at our base, you’ll check in, get suited up, and your guide walks the group through a safety briefing before you head out. On the trail, the pace is gradual and sustained — this isn’t a sprint. Your guide keeps an eye on the group throughout and adjusts for everyone’s comfort level. Expect 3 to 4 stops along the way to swap drivers and passengers, take photos, and catch your breath.
At some point along the trail, we pull over and take a few minutes off the snowmobile— a natural pause in the middle of the forest to catch your breath, stretch, and take in where you actually are. A good moment to pull out a snack or a warm drink (snacks and beverages are not included, bring yours) before getting back on the trail.
The 6h option covers the most ground and is the best choice for riders who want to feel genuinely immersed in the backcountry trails of the Upper Laurentians. Both options run in Upper Laurentians; the 6h simply goes further and includes more time on trail.
This ride is open to beginners, but the longer format means you need to be comfortable sitting on a snowmobile and staying focused for several hours. Drivers should be at ease with the throttle and brakes before committing to the 4h or 6h option — if you’ve never driven a snowmobile, our 2h guided ride is a better choice. Passengers need to hold on themselves behind the driver for the full duration, with feet fully supported on the footrests. In terms of difficulty, expect a low level of sustained effort — not strenuous, but not passive either.

This is a very popular activity. Reservations for weekends, Christmas vacations and spring break should be made 1 or 2 weeks in advance. For any other time, reservations should be made a few days in advance.
Yes all equipment is provided. Helmet, mitts, snow boots, snowsuit, trail access, gas, insurance and guide. Balaclava mask is mandatory but not included. You can buy it onsite at 15$.
There is an element of risk in all outdoor activities. Snowmobiles can go as fast as cars. After a security briefing, you will drive the snowmobile yourself if you have signed up as a driver. This means YOU control the speed. Risks are minimized by running the excursions under the supervision of professional guides. The group always follows guides on dedicated snowmobile trails. It is important to follow the instructions that are given at the beginning of the ride.
