Our immersive full-day adventure takes you deep into the Laurentian backwoods for an authentic dogsledding experience that connects you with nature and our incredible athletic dogs. Your journey begins with 1h30 on snow-covered trails before reaching a scenic halfway point where we’ll share a traditional wilderness meal.
Next, our adventure continues for another 1h30 of “mushing” through pristine wilderness. Your knowledgeable guide will share fascinating insights about local wildlife as you travel back-country paths, experiencing the winter forest during rest stops. The combination of friendly dogs, winter landscapes, engaging guides, and a workout makes for an unforgettable winter experience.
Running throughout the winter months, this moderate-intensity activity requires participants to be actively engaged in the sport of dogsledding while enjoying the stunning landscapes of the Laurentian Mountains.

We designed this experience for beginners—no prior experience needed. But remember, it’s a sport. Drivers will be engaged physically throughout the tour. Passengers can simply sit back for a scenic ride, but adult passengers and drivers can switch spots.

This is a very popular activity. Reservations for weekends should be made 1 or 2 weeks in advance, and reservations for Christmas vacations, and anytime from mid-February to the last week of March should be made 3 or 4 weeks in advance. For any other time, reservations should be made a few days in advance.

For this adventure, each sled has a guide, and the guide will decide how many people can go on each sled.
These dogs are working dogs who are bred to pull and run in a cold environment. They are trained and fed properly to be able to do it well. They like pulling a sled as much as a retriever likes fetching a stick. This will become obvious just before the ride starts. Feel free to ask your guide anything you want about sled dogs… learning about the dogs is an interesting part of the experience.
On the personalized adventures, the guide drives the sled but may allow participants to share the driving.
