Experience Lake Tremblant like never before with Mont Tremblant boat rentals. We offer a variety of boats, from runabouts to comfortable multiple passenger pontoon boats.

All boats come with small 9.9 hp engines, they are not fast but are perfect for cruising and taking in the stunning scenery. Our pontoon boats are the ideal choice for groups or families looking to relax in style. They come fully equipped with swim platforms, couches, dining tables, built-in coolers, and convertible tops/windows.

All our boat rentals come with everything you need for fun day on the water. Safety equipment, life jackets and gas are included, and a bag of ice is available per boat on request. Please note that boat captains are not included, and food and beverages are not provided. Don’t wait to reserve your Mont Tremblant boat rental! Our rentals fill up quickly, with some reservations made even weeks in advance. Be sure to reserve early to avoid disappointment.

Know Before you Book

  • Our boat rentals fill up days, even weeks, in advance reserve early, best is at least 1 week in advance.
  • Driver must be 21 years old with a Canadian boating license or a class 5 automobile driver’s license with mandatory evaluation on site. If the evaluation is failed, you will be required to pay an additional fee ($58.44 (1h), $87.69 (1h30), $116.88 (2h)) to have a guide accompany you for the duration of your rental.
  • The maximum number of passengers is 12.
  • Credit card security deposit of $1000. On-site you must present the same credit card used to make your reservation and show a matching piece of government ID with the same name.
  • Children of less than 80lbs / 36kg count as 1/2 passenger.
  • Dogs are allowed and count as 1/2 passenger.
  • Minimum an 1h30 and maximum 3h of boat rentals.
  • No smoking allowed on board. No strong alcohol (only beer and wine) BBQ’s are not allowed.
  • This is a self-guided ride on the boat of your choice on Lake Tremblant.
  • Knowing how to swim is required.

Know Before you Go

  • Please dress appropriately for your cruise on your pontoon rental. Ask if you are unsure or see our What to wear section.
  • Customers must present themselves 30 minutes before their departure time.
  • Bring swimming gear, picnic, sunscreen and enjoy!

Additional Information

  • Our base is a 2-minute drive or a 15-minute walk from Tremblant resort. We are situated less than a 2-hour drive from Montreal and Ottawa.
  • Duration: 1h30, 2h, 2h30 or 3h.
  • Please note: It takes approximately 2h30 to visit the whole lake (12km).
  • The Amarok is a boat good for fishing and not suitable for swimming due to the lack of a ladder.
  • The pontoons are equipped with a ladder. Ideal for jumping in the water and getting back up. They are also equipped with a roof in case of rain and a canvas wall if necessary.
  • For guests who choose to reserve in advance (recommended), directions to meeting points will be provided in your reservation by email. Otherwise, directions will be handed to you when you reserve at The Activity Centre.
  • Prices do not include taxes or mandatory resort royalty of 3% and may be subject to change without notice.

When should I reserve?

Our boat rental fill up days, even weeks in advance. Reserve early, best is at least 1 week in advance.

For our watersports, a few days in advance is sufficient.

What are the water temperatures of Lake Tremblant?

For example about 22C in August.

Do I need a wetsuit and can I rent a wetsuit?

Depending on the activity you are planning to do and the time of the year a wetsuit is recommended to guarantee that you enjoy the activity. You can rent wetsuits on site.

What is easier to learn, waterski or waterboard?

Many people that have never done any board sport before experience problems with the cross position. Therefore (depending on your experience) it might be easier to start with waterskiing.

How much time of waterskiing should I calculate?

Unless you are used to waterskiing you should calculate 15min for each participant.

During a watersport session, can we have passengers on the boat?

There will be a captain and the instructor in the boat. For waterskiing and tubing, participants wait on the floating platform. For wakeboard and surf, we can have up to 5 passengers in the boat.
